We are looking for a new Team Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide operational leadership and development for a new service based in North Edinburgh.

Fresh Start help people make a home for themselves. We do this in three ways:

Provision of goods – essential household starter packs and white goods to assist people in setting up a home.

Social and practical support – our staff support volunteers to work alongside service users to decorate their homes, give people the skills to cook healthy and nutritional meals, and support people to volunteer in our growing spaces.

Employability – our SQA training programme helps people gain skills, experience and practical work experience to enhance their employment prospects.

Fresh Start are opening a community space in North Edinburgh to assist people to feel at home in their local community. This development will grow on the strengths of our core services to provide local people with access to current programmes and connect them to other organisations. This role will also oversee the development of a community kitchen, community pantry and development of the charity / thrift shop.
