This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a team within Edinburgh HSCP to support people affected by cancer. Educated to SCVQ7/8 level with strong interpersonal skills and a belief in the strengths and resilience inherent in people and communities, you will, along with the ICJ Project Team deliver a person-centred service as part of the Pan-Lothian ICJ Programme.

The role is offered as a four year fixed term appointment and offers a unique opportunity to work with a range of partners across health and social care, local authority, third sector and users and carers.

Whilst these posts are based within Edinburgh HSCP, due to COVID-19, a substantial period of flexible home working will be required.

Your role:

The ICJ Link Worker will help to promote self-management and address people’s holistic needs during and after cancer treatment and work across organisational boundaries with partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for people affected by cancer.

ensure voluntary roles deliver high impact services which make a measurable difference to individuals, their families and staff.

To be considered for this role you will be educated to Degree Level and must have experience of working with and managing volunteers.
