Trustees

  • Management Board
  • Unpaid
  • Edinburgh
  • Closing 24th October 2022

Luminate is seeking 4 trustees to join our Board. Luminate is a leadership, development, advocacy and influencing organisation. Set up in 2012, the organisation has developed rapidly to meet our vision that all older people in Scotland have the opportunity to access high quality arts and creative activities, whatever their background and circumstances and wherever they live. In that time we have held seven festivals, and we now provide an extensive year-round creative and development programme working with multiple partners across the country.

We are a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), and we have a committed and skills Board of Trustees. The Board meets quarterly, and has a Finance & Risk Subcommittee which also meets quarterly. Meetings take place in Edinburgh, however online attendance is possible and we have Trustees based across Scotland.

Current Trustees come from a range of backgrounds and we welcome applications from people of all ages, and from all communities across Scotland. We are particularly interested in hearing from people of colour, from professional artists, and from people with experience of national policy roles in Scotland.
