The successful candidate will be experienced in:

• Engaging effectively with politicians, Parliamentary processes and policy makers in government, lobbying for change and active campaigning.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed individual with relevant communications experience and a successful track record of influencing policy change by leading campaigns, lobbying and engaging with all stakeholders including social workers, people with lived experience, politicians, campaign groups, policy representatives and coalition organisations.

As well as being able to demonstrate impact on policy change and experience of using policy, research, public campaigning, media and digital work to influence a broader change the successful candidate will provide excellent written content for internal use and external publications.

Working from our office space in Edinburgh with flexibility to work from home this contract is due to run for a minimum of 9 months and will start 5th January 2022.
