Support Workers & Relief Register

  • Faifley (including Clydebank and surrounding areas)
  • Closing 5th June 2022

As a Support Worker you will join our well-established team in Faifley working with people to provide high quality individualised support to adults and young people who have a range of support needs or disabilities across Faifley, Clydebank and surrounding areas. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of the people we support.

On a day-to-day basis we support people with all aspects of their lives including personal care, taking care of their home and finances as well as developing and maintaining full and active participation in the community. A commitment to a person-centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.

We have a variety of posts available including specific posts to provide support in relation to waking night shifts. Applicants must however be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people we support with shifts including evenings, weekends and overnight responsibilities including sleepovers and waking nights in most circumstances.

Key provides excellent professional supervision, support and training, including access to the SVQ Framework and a chance to really make a difference to people’s lives.

If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract because you have other commitments, then there are opportunities to join our register of relief workers who provide support based on their availability.

We would encourage you to submit your application as the earliest convenience as we may be able to offer interview at an earlier date to shortlisted candidates.

If you would like to arrange an informal chat to find out more do not hesitate to get in touch. Please contact Lynn at our Faifley Office on 0141 9529461 or at lynn.hossack@key.org.uk
