Launched in 2000, Remember a Charity is a registered charity hosted by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. It brings together 200 UK charities who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work. The Remember a Charity team work closely with partners in the legal sector, government, and private sectors to run campaigns and raise awareness of this important method of giving.
The consortium has continued to help grow legacy giving over the past 20 years, with gifts in Wills now generating more than £3 billion a year for good causes. The campaign aims to do what no single charity can do on its own, growing the legacy market and normalising gifts in Wills.
Remember a Charity are currently expanding and looking for a new Member Engagement Assistant to join the team. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a well-established, national organisation. The Member Engagement Assistant will support a lively and talented staff team across membership, partnerships and consumer campaigns. You will assist in all areas of Remember a Charity’s administration, supporting membership, marketing, partnerships and development. A typical day in this role will be varied; you may be working closely with the CRM system, responding to incoming enquirers, being a line of support for a range of teams and you may be involved in monitoring forums.
This role would be perfect for someone who is looking to make the move into the sector or someone who is returning to the workforce after a break. The Member Engagement Assistant role will suit a range of people coming from different backgrounds. We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a customer service environment and is passionate about ensuring there is a smooth consumer journey. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage a conflicting workload and prioritise effectively.
