We are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to support the Service Manager in the operation of our Stanmore Residential service. You will be required to coordinate and supervise a team of support staff in delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects individual customers' needs wants and aspirations.
Support for this role will be provided from the Service Manager and current Team Leaders at the service.
A key part of this role is to coach, monitor, mentor and develop the skill base within the staff team, you will do this by displaying Leadership skills such as role modelling, decision making, being an effective communicator, having a positive attitude, commitment and confidence in the role. You may also be required from time to time to deliver direct support to our customers. Supervision duties and rota management are also required. Supporting staff to complete online training and mandatory training will also be part of this role.

The main purpose of the post of Assistant Shop Manager is to support the Shop Manager to generate income by managing the Boutique shop effectively and commercially, to create a unique shopping experience for customers and donors while maintaining the high standards set by CHSS.

The Assistant Shop Manager is part of the CHSS retail team and is expected to contribute to the department’s goal of raising revenue to support the work of the charity.
This is a part time post working 19.5 hours per week, 10am to 5pm over 3 days.

You will be expected to manage and motivate a team of staff to provide meaningful support to service users and to ensure the security of the project. Your goal will be to ensure the delivery of a high quality support service that builds service user skills and to allow them to move out of homelessness.
You will be qualified to Registered Manager's Award level or equivalent.

The post will involve 4 shifts per week. You will be required to work on the rota, which will include back and weekend shifts, for part of the working week.
Shifts are: Day shift 07:30 – 15:30 Mid shift 10:00 – 18:00 Back Shift 14:30 – 22:30.
There is also scope for overtime due to this being a part-time position.
If successful, you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of your start date. After registration, there is a requirement to be qualified and to maintain professional learning.
