The Scottish Older People’s Assembly is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to cover maternity leave for the Co-ordinator. The post is initially for 6 months (January – June 2020) with potential to extend for a further 3-6 months dependent on external funding.
This flexible and interesting role would ideally suit someone who has experience of working within the charity/ public sector on citizen engagement, event planning, delivery and evaluation, and preparing reports. The post holder will be responsible to the Trustees of SOPA and although will work closely with the Chair, is required to be confident in working autonomously to deliver agreed outcomes.

Garvald West Linton is an established provider of residential and Day Care services for adults with learning disabilities. The Care Practitioners provide care in five houses and there are eight workshop areas as well as further education and individual therapies. Our work is based on the principles of Rudolf Steiner. We are situated 20 miles south of Edinburgh in beautiful surroundings near West Linton.
