The post holder will be a dynamic, driven individual who is committed to supporting the local Opiate, Alcohol dependent and Non-dependent substance misuse community and their associated needs by:
· Salary band of £24,627 - £29,000 per annum
· 12 months FTC
· 37.5 hours per week
This role will be in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (821 Woolwich Road,) providing a service across the whole borough but based Charlton. You may be required to work flexibly to provide some evening sessions and from other satellite services throughout Greenwich Borough where you will be able to support the local community.
The nearest train stations are Charlton and North Greenwich Station.

WDP Greenwich Navigation Team

Are you a recovery practitioner looking for a new challenge in developing pathways and processes for service users within Greenwich?
Launched in 2020, WDP Greenwich is a fully-integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Woolwich. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Greenwich residents, irrespective of circumstance.
WDP Greenwich Navigation team will aim to improve service integration across LB Greenwich. The navigation team will engage and connect with partners across the borough to create sustainable pathways. They will ensure wrap around support for complex service users including those in the Criminal Justice system.
The Navigators will lead on one specific area within this new initiative funded by PHE. We are looking to recruit 5 Navigators who will work with partner agencies to establish and develop pathways. You will also hold a caseload of service users. We are looking for people who have experience in working in one of the following areas:-
children’s services; local prisons, court and probation; community safety and housing; primary care.
We are seeking committed, organised and highly-motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues in the London Borough of Greenwich.
Salary band of £24,267 - £29,000 per annum
1 x year fixed term contract/For internal candidates, this is a secondment for one year.
37.5 hours per week
The role is based at the WDP Greenwich, but at times may involve travel to external meetings and satellites within the borough, and to other WDP locations as needed.
