  • Glasgow Family Support Service
  • Closing 20th April 2021

Do YOU want to help build a better future for Young People?

Do YOU want to be part of an organisation who really care?

Our Family Support Service supports families living in the Glasgow area, working both on a 1:1 basis and in groups in a variety of community, school and home setting, supporting the most disadvantaged families within the area to help reduce isolation and become more engaged in their community.

We are looking for someone to work within our bespoke support service to vulnerable families with children attending Miltonbank Primary School. This service is supported by the Pupil Equity Fund. You will work with the school to identify families with which you will offer personalised child development and parenting support to improve outcomes for those children within the education system. During the summer months you will continue work with the families doing outreach work.

You will have relevant experience working with children and families with strong knowledge of child development and parenting.

The post is offered as 18.75 hours per week worked on a flexible pattern to meet the needs of both the post holder and the families being supported. Work is expected to be completed within the identified school.

This post is a temporary post to cover maternity leave and is expected to end December 2021.
