The Project requires an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual with significant Youth /Support work experience to join the Motorcycle Project staff team. The post will be fixed term for one year in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of an existing team for a well-established youth Motorcycle Project and will be given full training. We work closely with local schools and youth agencies to provide group work programmes for young people. The Project uses off road motorcycles and group work activities to focus and engage young people.
Rural Housing Scotland works to secure more affordable housing to meet rural housing needs and tackle rural homelessness. We provide expert support to rural communities to help them take practical action to meet local housing needs and build sustainable rural communities. We have a key role in the development of rural housing policy; building on links with communities to highlight the extent and nature of rural housing issues to policy and decision makers.
We are looking for a Communications and Membership Officer to join our small team. This role will provide communications and engagement support for the organisation. We are seeking to transform our engagement with rural communities, members and stakeholders across Scotland on housing issues and this role will play a key part in delivering this ambition.
