Ayrshire Cancer Support was established in 1982 and is now Ayrshire’s leading cancer support charity. We provide free practical and emotional support to cancer patients and their families throughout Ayrshire.

Reporting to the CEO, we are looking for a senior level HR Manager who can play a leading role in the organisation by providing a professional, hands-on, end-to-end HR service for all employment matters, while keeping employee and volunteer wellbeing at the forefront of what we do.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team delivering vital support to vulnerable women, children and young people in East Ayrshire. You do not need to know everything there is to know about domestic abuse, but we do need to know that you are reliable and committed to our principles and values.
The position is voluntary, but we will provide you with training and support and pay your expenses. We meet at least six times a year, usually on Saturday mornings.

Ambitious charity Above Adventure is looking to appoint a forward-thinking and organised Centre Manager to lead on the launch and running of the new state-of-the-art climbing and bouldering facility in Kilmarnock. The centre is due to open in August 2021, so there is no better time to join the team and be part of the exciting activities building up to launch day.
The highly-visible local project, is a first of it’s kind in the West of Scotland and the culmination of many years of hard work, fundraising and planning. With a long-serving team of 2 staff, and dedicated Board of Trustees, the Centre Manager will be joining an established, successful team. They will be a key contributor to recruiting the staff team needed to run the centre, and also lead on the identification and implementation of new systems and processes to support operations.
