The Young Carers Project and Young Adult Carers Project aims to provide information, advice and support to young people 7 – 25 years who have caring responsibilities within their family, due to illness, disability or substance misuse.
A sound knowledge of working with children and young people is essential as is access to own car.

Support in Mind Scotland is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Dumfries to lead the development of a potential Asset Transfer Project that is currently at the stage of assessing feasibility.
The successful person will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to gather information needed and to be part of the team developing the vision and plans for this project as part of the wider ambitious strategy for the Region.
They will be able to analyse problems and seek solutions; and be able to organise their work and a range of work tasks effectively and show leadership to the team. They will also have excellent project management skills and be confident in their ability to influence and motivate others to help achieve the overall project aims.
