Due to the ongoing growth and development of our support services we currently have a number of exciting job opportunities in the Dunoon area.
Working locally, you will join one of our teams delivering great quality individualised support to adults who have a variety of support needs, where every day is different in this challenging but rewarding role.
Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people who use our service. Supports will include work in the evenings and weekends as well as sleepovers and waking nights when required. Flexible working patterns and small contracts can also be considered.

If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract due to other commitments, we also have opportunities for you to complement our existing workers by joining our relief register of bank support workers. This will mean you can work in a way that best suits you and fits with your life.

Our vibrant service in Argyll & Bute provides recovery support to people concerned about their own or someone else’s drug or alcohol use. We have service bases in Dunoon, Helensburgh and Oban staffed by Recovery Workers, Recovery Champions and Volunteers but much of our work is carried out in the local communities that we serve.
If you have a compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others, you could be just what we're looking for.
As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.
We are determined and always professional in our approach to each and every case and we never judge, we're just here to help.
There will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.
