About Us
Camphill Estates (CRSE) is a Scottish charity (SC01265) which owns the land and property of five independent Camphill charities in Aberdeen City and Shire: Beannachar, Camphill School Aberdeen, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, Simeon Care for the Elderly and Tigh a’ Chomainn. The Fundraising Team provides the fundraising function to the first 4 charities in the list.
About Camphill:
Camphill is a worldwide movement with over 100 independent sustainable charities (often referred to as 'communities') that support individuals with additional support needs to lead meaningful lives.
The Role:
We are seeking a pro-active and highly motivated, results orientated fundraising professional to drive forward our corporate partnerships, community & events fundraising as well as supporting the wider fundraising function. You will work as part of a team helping to implement an effective fundraising strategy with innovative approaches and tried and tested techniques required to bring in funds from corporate partnerships, community, individuals and events. This is a new role in an established and growing Fundraising Team with significant capital fundraising ambitions and a strong track record of success.
The Opportunity:
This role offers an exciting challenge to be part of a high achieving, dynamic and fast paced team that supports multiple charities and is continually responding to new projects. We work with opportunities ranging from a few thousand pounds to a few million.
Each day is different with a range of new challenges to tackle with the ability to shape the direction and success of your portfolio. We have an open minded and inclusive culture that embraces new ideas and works collaboratively towards a common goal, sharing and celebrating successes together.
We are based on Murtle Estate, which leads the way on third sector sustainability practices. The beautiful Estate is set over 28 hectares, which includes a herd of Alpacas! We also often join various community events and festivals, really getting involved in the ethos of the Camphill movement.
By being based onsite and regularly traveling to each charity, you get to know and build relationships with the people you are supporting and can see first hand the real and lasting difference our funding makes. We are very fortunate to be able to physically show people what we do and not just talk about it – one of our greatest assets.
